These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of My People Note (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Service overview
The Service lets you record and view profiles of people you care about on your device. We offer a free plan (with a person limit) and a one-time paid unlock (unlimited people, gift history, JSON export/import, and related features). No account registration is required.
2. Eligibility
You may use the Service if you agree to these Terms and understand that data is stored mainly on your device. If you purchase paid features, you must provide a valid email for purchase confirmation and restore. You are responsible for managing your device, browser, and backups.
3. Fees and payment
The free plan costs nothing. The paid unlock is a one-time purchase (not a subscription). Reference prices are ¥500 (tax included) when browsing in Japanese and USD 3.99 when browsing in English; the actual charge is determined at checkout via Stripe. Payments are processed by Stripe. Due to the nature of digital content, refunds are generally not available except where required by law.
4. Prohibited conduct
You must not: violate laws or public order; infringe others' rights; provide false information; interfere with the Service (unauthorized access, excessive load, scraping, etc.); fraudulently obtain paid access; store content that violates others' privacy; or engage in other conduct we deem inappropriate.
5. Changes, suspension, termination
We may change, suspend, or discontinue the Service without prior notice. We will try to give reasonable notice of material changes when possible.
6. Disclaimer
Except for our intentional misconduct or gross negligence, we are not liable for loss of on-device data (browser settings, device failure, accidental deletion, removing the app from the iOS home screen, etc.). You should back up via JSON export when needed. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you enter.
7. Deleting data
You can delete profile data on your device (delete a person, clear site data, remove the app from the iOS home screen, etc.). Deletion may be irreversible. For deletion of purchase records we hold, contact contact@narudev.works.
8. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The Tokyo District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance for disputes relating to the Service.
