My People Note (the "Service") is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how we handle personal information when you use the Service. By using the Service, you agree to our Terms of Service and this Policy.
1. Introduction
The Service is a web application that lets you store profiles of people you care about (sizes, preferences, allergies, etc.) on your device. You remain in control of that data; we do not operate a cloud database of your profiles.
2. Information we handle
We may handle the following: (1) Profile data — name, relationship, birthday, sizes, food preferences and restrictions, brands, hobbies, wishlist, color/style notes, free-form memo, gift history (date, item, notes), etc. This is stored primarily in your browser (IndexedDB) and is not sent to our servers. (2) On-device settings — unlock state, pinned people on the list, last JSON export date (localStorage). (3) Purchase and restore — email you provide when buying the one-time unlock, Stripe checkout session data, and purchase status stored in Supabase (email, unlocked flag, Stripe session ID, etc.). Card numbers are processed by Stripe; we do not store them. (4) Technical data — hosting providers such as Vercel may process access logs (IP address, browser type, etc.) for security and operations. We do not collect location data.
3. Purposes of use
We use information to provide and improve the Service, deliver paid features, confirm purchases and restore access on another device, prevent abuse, respond to inquiries, and comply with applicable law.
4. Third-party services
We use Supabase (purchase records), Stripe (payments), and Vercel (hosting) as needed to run the Service. Except as required by law, we do not sell or share your profile data with third parties without your consent.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
We use localStorage and, where needed, cookies to keep unlock state, language preference, pinned list order, and similar settings. Disabling them in your browser may limit some features.
6. Retention and deletion
Profile and gift data stay on your device until you delete it, clear browser data, reset the device, or remove the app from the iOS home screen. Paid users can export JSON for backup. Purchase records are kept in Supabase as long as needed for restore. You may request access, correction, or deletion of purchase-related data we hold by contacting contact@narudev.works.
7. Minors
The Service is not intended for anyone under 16. If we learn that a user under 16 is using the Service without parental consent, we may take steps to restrict use.
8. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the Service when reasonable. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Policy. Check the last updated date at the top of this page.
